THE ROLE OF CHINA IN RELATIONS BETWEEN INDIA AND PAKISTAN

The role of China in the development of relations between India and Pakistan is being considered. The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) stands out as one of the main ways of cooperation between China and Pakistan. It is stated that China has significant influence and ties with the countries of South Asia and can influence on resolving conflicts. In particular, China's role and place in the conflict is determined by its response to the fightings and terrorists’ acts by Pakistan and India. China is reacting negatively to these actions, as a third party, of the conflict. Official Beijing has repeatedly insisted on a peaceful settlement of all disputes in its statements,
The article also analyzes the attitude of Pakistan and India to China's involvement in the conflict. While Pakistan is certainly not opposed to Chinese support, India opposes any action, and especially does not support the Chinese initiative of the CPEC, as it believes that this economic corridor threatens Indian security in both economic and military-political terms. At the same time, China does not always act consistently, but flexibly responds to the changing situation both in the region and in the middle of the country.
