ВІЙНА В УКРАЇНІ ТА ЗАХІДНІ БАЛКАНИ: ІМПЕРАТИВИ НОВОЇ ГЕОПОЛІТИЧНОЇ ДИНАМІКИ РОЗШИРЕННЯ ЄС

Російсько-українська війна зрушила з «мертвої точки» геополітику роз- ширення ЄС як інструменту стабілізації кордонів євроблоку. Активізація переговорного процесу з визначеною перспективою включення країн Західних Балкан та Східного партнерства розглядається як геостратегіч- ний пріоритет ЄС до кінця поточного десятиліття. Предметом дослідження є закономірності й виклики сучасної геополітичної динаміки розширення Євросоюзу. Мета статті – оцінка впливу геополітичних чинників, зокрема російсько-української війни, на політику розширення ЄС.
Отримано такі результати: установлено, що нинішній етап розширення ЄС відбувається під впливом російського геополітичного реваншизму та прагнення відновити «сфери впливу» в Європі; Західні Балкани мають для Європи геостратегічне значення, а тому стали об’єктом інтересу багатьох позарегіональних автократичних гравців, таких як Росія, Китай, Туреччи- на; усі країни-претенденти на вступ до ЄС мають суттєві диспропорції в ступені інтеграції за багатьма індикаторами; балканський досвід євроінтеграції супроводжується суттєвими суперечками, які загальмували розширення ЄС на десятиліття; на тлі російської агресії нинішній етап політики розширення супроводжується значною громадською підтримкою включення нових членів.
Можемо зробити висновки: сучасний стан розширення ЄС зумовлений геополітичними та безпековими детермінантами, в умовах глобального протистояння між силами демократії й авторитаризму він набув імперативного характеру. Геополітичний характер розширення ЄС не скасовує необхідності відповідності acquis communautaire, але вимагає реформ самого Євросоюзу, які дають змогу проводити більш узгоджену зовнішню політику та забезпечать проактивний підхід для підтримки України й інших членів. Геополітичний характер розширення наголошує на тому, що Україна є важливим активом Брюсселю, вона спроможна забезпечити стратегічну автономію ЄС, посилити його ідентифікацію як глобального геополітичного гравця в умовах становлення багатоцентричного світу.
