The article is devoted to the study of prospects of Ukraine's integration into the information space of the European Union. The need for such integration is substantiated, as well as problematic issues arising from differences in the legal regulation of Ukrainian and European information spaces, the level of cybersecurity and information literacy of Ukrainian citizens. The article presents SWOT-analysis of the current state of the Ukrainian information space. The article contains a list of possible ways to improve the organiza- tional and legal parameters of the Ukrainian information space in order to accelerate the process of integration and adaptation. Possible directions for improving the legislative regulation of certain aspects of the functioning of the information space were suggested. Implementation of these recommen- dations will allow Ukraine to enter the European information space as an equal participant, which will expand the opportunities for users of informa- tion products.
