Information For Authors

Author Guidelines

To be able to submit manuscripts to the journal and to check their current status, it is necessary to register on the site (https://relint.vnu.edu.ua/index.php/relint/user/register). ORCID indication is mandatory.

To publish an article in this journal the author (authors) shoud pay 70 UAH per page. Since the maximum number of pages is 22, the cost of the article will be 1540 UAH. There are no fees payable to submit in this journal.

The content of an article should correspond to the topic areas of the Journal.

The Journal accepts research articles provided that:

  • the authors are submitting their original work,
  • they have the rights in the work,
  • they are submitting the work for the first publication in the Journal and that it is not being considered for publication elsewhere and has not already been published elsewhere, and
  • they have obtained and can supply all necessary permissions for the reproduction of any copyright works not owned by them.

Cited material, constituting not more than 10% of the entire text, must be drawn up with appropriate references to the source.

Authors are obliged to participate in peer review process.

All authors are obliged to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes.

Authorship

All parties who have made a substantive contribution to the article should be listed as authors. Principal authorship, authorship order, and other publication credits should be based on the relative scientific or professional contributions of the individuals involved, regardless of their status.  

Acknowledgements

All contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be listed in an Acknowledgements section. Examples of those who might be acknowledged include a person who provided purely technical help, or a department chair who provided only general support.

 

In submitting an article to the journal, the author:

  • agrees that its complete text be placed on the Internet;

Authors agree to have their personal data collected and processed for inclusion in the database in accordance with the Law of Ukraine No. 2297-VI "On Protection of Personal Data" as of 01.06.2010. The names and email addresses specified by users of the International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies site will only be used for internal technical tasks; they will not be distributed or transmitted to unauthorized persons.

The language of the manuscript is Ukrainian, English, Polish.

It is the authors that bear responsibility for the content of the article, rather than the Editorial Board or the Publishing house.

The sequence of structural elements of the article: 

  • UDC index – left, 10pt, Times New Roman;
  • Surname, nameof the author / co-authors in the language of the article (Ukrainian,Russian, Polish, English) – left, 10pt, Times New Roman;
  • Informationaboutthe authors (scientific degree, academic rank, position and place of work (without acronyms) in the language of the article (Ukrainian,Russian, Polish, English)  – left, 10pt, Times New Roman;
  • Papertitle – centered, 12 pt, Times New Roman, in the language of the article (Ukrainian,Russian, Polish, English);
  • Extendedabstractin in the language of the article (Ukrainian,Russian, Polish, English) (1 800 characters with spaces) – justified, 10 pt, Times New Roman.
  • Keywords (3-8 words or phrases) – 10 pt, Times New Roman, in the language of the article (Ukrainian,Russian, Polish, English);
  • Topicality of the paper, its aim, methods of the research, results, scientific novelty, practical significance – justified, 12 pt, Times New Roman;
  • Main text (justified, 12 pt, Times New Roman):
  • introduction should include the statement of a scientific problem, its relations with important scientific and practical tasks, analysis of recent publications and research in the field of the chosen problem;
  • identification of unsolved aspects of the problem, the article is devoted to; formulation of aims and objectives of the study;
  • the results of the research and their reasoning;
  • conclusions and prospects of further research;
  • Bibliography(at least 8 items), justified, 10 pt, Times New Roman;
  • title of the manuscript, its abstract and keywords in English, justified, 10 pt, Times New Roman. If the article is in Eglish, the before mentioned information should be given in Ukrainian;
  • References– bibliography transliterated in Latin.

 

Technical requirements. 

The full paper (up to 22 pages А4 size) should be edited by the author.

The preferred format for the manuscript is Microsoft Word in Times New Roman; type size – 12 (for the main text); line spacing – 1 cm; indentation – 1 сm; the text is justified. The references in the works should be in line with APA style. Footnotes are not made.

References cited in the text should be given like this [12, p. 25], where 12 – is the number of the reference in the reference list, 25 – is the cited page; [13; 2] – the numbers of references are given without pages.

Page size: left – 2,5 сm, right – 1,5 сm, top and bottom – 2 сm. The first lines of the paragraphs should be indented by 1 сm. Pages are numbered automatically,.

The heading system to be used in the works should be as follows:

First Heading  will be like “1…”, bold, separate line, justified to the left, indentation – 1 сm;

Second Heading will be like “1.1…”, bold, italics, justified to the left, indentation – 1,5 сm;

Third Heading will be like “1.1.1…”, bold, italics, justified to the left, indentation – 1,5 сm.
